Best Korean lip tints for cool undertones, by shade

Updated October 19, 2026. 3 min read.

Most “best lip tints for cool undertones” lists name a product and stop there. That is not much help, because almost every Korean tint line comes in warm and cool shades. What you need is the shade.

This list starts with shades the brand itself labels for cool types, then covers the tint lines with the deepest cool ranges.

First, which cool type are you?

Cool undertones split into two seasons, and they need different shades.

  • Summer cool types (Light, True and Soft Summer) look best in soft, slightly powdery cool colors: rose, mauve, raspberry.
  • Winter cool types (True, Dark and Clear Winter) look best in clear, saturated cool colors: cherry red, fuchsia, plum.

If you are not sure which you are, read summer cool vs winter cool or take the quiz.

Shades labeled for cool types by the brand

rom&nd publishes the color types each of these shades was designed for. These are its labels, not our guesses. The Juicy Lasting Tint is glossy, the Glasting Melting Balm is a sheer glossy balm, and the Blur Fudge Tint is a soft blurred matte, so you can also choose by finish.

For Summer types

  • Glasting Melting Balm 02 Lovey Pink: Light Summer, True Summer.
  • Glasting Melting Balm 07 Mauve Whip: Soft Summer.
  • Juicy Lasting Tint 25 Bare Grape: Soft Summer, Light Summer.
  • Blur Fudge Tint 05 Bibi Candy: True Summer.

For Winter types

  • Juicy Lasting Tint 12 Cherry Bomb: True Winter, Clear Winter.
  • Juicy Lasting Tint 17 Plum Coke: True Winter, Dark Winter.
  • Blur Fudge Tint 08 Currant Jam: True Winter.
  • Blur Fudge Tint 04 Radwood: Dark Winter, Dark Autumn.

Find each one on its product page: Juicy Lasting Tint, Glasting Melting Balm, Blur Fudge Tint. Or see all rom&nd shades by type.

Tint lines with good cool ranges

These lines do not label shades by type, so read the shade names and descriptions. Look for rose, berry, plum, mauve, raspberry and cherry. Avoid coral, apricot, orange, brick and terracotta.

Finish matters as much as color

A cool shade in the wrong finish can still look off.

  • Summer types: sheer, satin and blurred finishes keep color soft.
  • Winter types: glossy and glass finishes add the clarity your coloring can carry. Velvet works too, in saturated shades.

How to check a shade before you buy

  1. Look at swatches on lips, not in the tube. Tints often look darker and warmer in the bottle.
  2. Look at swatches on skin similar to yours.
  3. Check the shade name on the listing matches the one you chose. Some lines have been renewed with new shade names.
